GSA - CBA Dean's Office - is seeking a Flash/Web Programmer/E-Learning Developer.  This individual will assist in production and programming of interactive training modules and engaging web projects geared for online learning.  You will work with a team to design, develop, and manage customized solutions for web and interactive eLearning projects.  You will be responsible for translating concepts and creative briefs into functional learning activities and applications.  Applicant must be able to author code in ActionScript, HTML, CSS and XML.  Must be able to create Flash activities/applications that are efficiently sized and capable of performing well on a wide variety of computer systems. GSA or Work Study - Facilities Management - is seeking to fill two positions. Information Systems Student Web-Developer will create and modify web pages from written or verbal instructions, test new or modified web pages to ensure all aspects of programming are functioning properly and create user guides and programming manuals.  Applicants should be able to create, maintain and properly document html and asp web pages, have good communications skills and be able to work independently.  Other web page related tasks may include writing or troubleshooting asp, java, scripting (vbscript or java script) languages and Visual Studio.NET web applications.  May be required to learn MS SQL Server 2000, MS Visual Studio.NET, MS Access and Adobe Photoshop.  Experience with web database programming with ASP, ASP.NET, MS SQL and IIS are desired.  Also having an understanding of MS SQL Server components and SQL programming is desired.  Recycling Coordinator plans and completes recycling education programs for CMU. This position will establish recycling stations for campus facilities, develop news releases for recycling events on campus, trains staff on procedures, contacts vendors to advise of conditions for recycling containers, recommends adjustments to recycling operations, trains students on recycling techniques in the Residence Halls and coordinates special recycling promotions and events. GSA  - Minority Student Services - is seeking a Supplemental Instruction Leaders for ACC 201, CHM 120, ECO 203 and PSY 100.  Applicants must be a Junior, Senior, or Graduate Student,  possess an overall GPA of 2.7 or above (on a 4.0 scale), must have received a minimum of an A- as a final grade in the course applying for, preferably at CMU, demonstrate good interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, have the ability to commit 12+ hours per week to the job and attend required meetings and training sessions, and a strong emphasis is placed on the ability to integrate cultural competency into the SI sessions.  Desired qualifications include previous experience with tutoring, teaching, study session activities, involvement with on-campus organizations or activities, experience with the following:  Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail, internet, experience in setting up and coordinating meetings or group sessions,  and creativity in creating handouts, presentations, learning activities. GSA  - Prof Ed - is seeking to fill two positions.
